Jacqueline Kay Freudenstein

August 8, 1934 — February 22, 2019

Following Jackie’s graduation from Loretto Heights College, with a B.A. degree, she taught school briefly before embarking on a long term career in the Financial Services Industry.

For 26 years Jackie worked for First Trust Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fiserv, Inc., as a Senior Vice President and member of of the Executive management team. Her areas of responsibility included Human Resources and Operations. First Trust experienced amazing growth during Jackie’s tenure: she thrived on leading the acquisition team as First Trust absorbed several national companies as well as hundreds of new employees into the Fiserv family. Her last two years with First Trust involved assisting with the acquisition of Resources Trust, where Jackie worked on sight to ensure a smooth and successful transition. No two situations were ever identical, making each workday professionally stimulating and very challenging.

Docent at the Denver Art Museum

Jackie was a docent at the Denver Art Museum. It was a big commitment because the training was both extensive and extremely time intensive. Jackie truly enjoyed teaching the visitors from all over Denver and the world the new, exciting art exhibits.

Jackie’s parents, Victor and Clara preceded her in death.

Jackie’s husband, William, preceded her in death.

Jackie has five children: Erica, Robert, Vanessa (Matt), Diana (Jim), and Regina (Robert).

Jackie has four grandchildren: Ashleigh, Andrew, William, and Alex.

Jackie’s Best Friend of 82 years, Gretchen.

Jackie has three grand dogs: Blue, Butters and Barron.

Jackie’s greatest passion was spending leisure time at her home in Vail with her family and grandchildren.

Jackie loved to travel, especially to Carmel, Arizona, Florida and Mexico.

Jackie loved to garden and go on long walks.

Jackie loved to take family and friends out to eat all the time to her favorite restaurants.

Jackie also loved to shop whenever she got the chance. She loved to buy new clothes and keep up with the fashion trends. She always, always dressed to the tens, timeless and beautiful.

She will be forever missed by all who knew her.

You will forever be in our hearts.

Rest in Peace, Mom.
