James Bourcy

June 8, 1933 — August 19, 2013

The odds of the Denver Bronco's being the 2014 Superbowl Champions just increased substantially, as Super Fan James Stephen Bourcy was just called to heaven to manage that victory. James S. Bourcy age 80 died August 19, 2013 at his home in Littleton, Colorado. Jim was born in Watertown, NY on June 8, 1933. He served in the Air Force from 1952 to 1956. He was the President and owner of Simpson Associates. Jim is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Jeanne O'Farrell, his eight children, Kieran O'Farrell, James Bourcy, Suzanne Burkholder, Tim Bourcy, Scott Bourcy, Gregg Bourcy, Maureen Bourcy, Jeff Bourcy, his eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Neil Bourcy, and two sisters, Sally Converse, and Katherine Ann Bourcy, and many nieces and cousins. Jim will be fondly remembered as a truly gentle man with a curiosity of the world around him. He was one of the key organizers of the infamous Bourcy Family Reunions. He was an exceptionally loving man who cherished going to Eagle mountain with his children and grandchildren telling stories both tall and wondrous, river rafting, sushi, green chili and especially his friends and family, and of course, his beloved Denver Broncos.
