A soldier has passed away. Retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant James M. Boyle, 79, passed away September 16, 2015 in Aurora, Colorado. Jim enlisted in the Air Force in 1954 and worked in the Accounting and Finance Field for his 26 year military career. Jim retired from the Air Force in 1980, finished his college education earning a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Arts and Sciences. He then went to work for the Defense Finance and Accounting Service, for 15 more years as a System Accountant. He retired again in 1997 with a total of 41 years in government service. Upon his second retirement in 1997 Jim remained active golfing and would be out the door on weekends at 5 am to start a round of golf at 6 am. He enjoyed summer travels with his wife Mary Kay and enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren. Jim was a 3rd Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus. Jim is survived by his wife Mary Kay, children Michelle (James), Mary (Ken) and John; grandchildren Jenna, Joshua, Jessica, Jarrod, Miranda and Ian; brother Rick (Pam), nephews and nieces. September 21, 2015, Public viewing from 6 - 7 PM, Rosary at 7 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora, CO 80014. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, September 23 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Loreto Parish, 18000 East Arapahoe Road, Foxfield, CO 80016. Interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, CO 80236, at 12:15 PM, Staging Area C, following the Funeral Mass.
