James Leon Brooks

James Leon Brooks of 85, passed away on 7/12/2018. He was born to the late Wade Brooks and the late Dovie (Willis) Brooks on September 15, 1932.

He is survived by his children; Larry (Lynn) Brooks, Linda (the late Don) Kostur, Wayne (Charlotte) Brooks & Sherri (Brooks) Lawrence. Grandchildren: Brandy Brooks and her husband Cory Anderson, Andrew Brooks, Dawn Cobb, Joseph Kostur, and Angela Rossier. Great Grandchildren: David, Stephanie, Damien, Allison, Johnnie, Skylynn, Ryan, Jayden, Sage, Emery, Lilly, Justin, Morgan, Dacota, Cori, Rhea, and Jammie. Siblings: JD (Shirley) Brooks, Hoyt (Rosemary) Brooks, Arlon (Judy) Brooks, Danny (Cindy) Brooks, Kenneth Brooks, Joan and her husband Winfred, and Vernia Mae He was preceded in death by his wife, Freda, both of his parents, and sibilings, the late Doris, Darrel, and Rayford.

Visitation will be held on, Thursday, 7/19, 11am-12pm followed by Funeral Service 12pm, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant St., Thornton.
