James E. Brown

James E. Brown died early May 19, 2009 at Presbyterian / St. Luke's Hospital from heart aliments. Jim was born January 2, 1926 in Eupora, Mississippi to Everett and Madora Brown. He leaves Harriette, his loving wife of 57 years; children Pamela (Eugene) Brooks, Paula Brown, J. Edwin Brown, E. Alan (Carla) Brown, Gerald (Barbara) Brown, Patricia (Terry) Eichorn, Peggy Brown, Francis (Megan) Brown and David Brown. He leaves 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Jim is survived by his sisters Annie Mae (R.C.) Johnson and Dorthis Christmas and his brothers Calvin Brown, Ed Howard (Geta) Brown and Hubert (Star) Brown. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jim and Harriette were among the founding families of St. Pius X Catholic Church. He will be deeply missed by a host of relatives and friends. Jim volunteered for many years doing maintenance and electrical work for the church. Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 3 PM, followed by a Memorial Mass at 3:30 PM, both will be held on Friday, May 22, 2009 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 13670 East 13th Place, Aurora, 80011.
