James ""Jim"" C. Elliott

James ""Jim"" C. Elliott, 76 of Highlands Ranch, passed away March 9, 2019. Jim was born on February 18, 1943 to Eva Adelaide Beck and James Lawrence Orin Elliott in Bronx, New York.

Jim is survived by children: Debra (David) Thompson, and Neal (Sherry) Dowling; grandchildren: Dane Elliott, Dylan (Kaitlyn) Thompson, Devon Thompson and Adam Dowling; great-grandchildren: Kirah, Brielle and Sienna Elliott.

Jim is preceded in passing by his wife Carol of 41 years, and his parents Eva and James Elliott.

Jim served 21 years in the United States Navy as an Aviation boatswain's mate. He later worked for the Post office for 15 years.

Jim had the opportunity to work on some of the most remarkable Navy ships such as the USS Coral Sea, USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71), and the USS Enterprise.

Jim was true to his faith, outside of his devotion he enjoyed playing cards, rooting for the Miami Dolphins and most of all, spending time with his family.

In honor of Jim, a Graveside Service will be held 11:30AM, Friday, March 22, 2019 at Fort Logan National Cemetery Staging Area “B”. Memorial Service to follow at 1:45PM at Christ Lutheran Church (8997 S Broadway, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129).
