James "Jim" Alan Frohne, age 82, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Jim passed away peacefully of natural causes at his residence on Wednesday December 21, 2022. He was born to William and Gertrude Frohne on November 23,1940 in Columbus, Missouri.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents William and Gertrude, his brothers Ivan and Richard, his wife Sharon, his son Kyle, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jim is survived by his daughter Erica (John) Conner, his son Alex (Jackie) Frohne, his sister Jane (Jerry) Bedwell, his brother Rob (Barbara) Frohne as well as many beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Jim's early employment included working at several companies in IL and CO. His departure from pension/corporate actuarial employment led to a long and very successful career in actuarial self-employment. Jim retired from self employment after 20+ years to spend time traveling the US by car, and enjoyed river and ocean cruises in Europe, the Pacific; as well as trips to Alaska, Hawaii, and the Panama Canal. After his wife Sharon’s passing in 2018, Jim continued going on almost daily nature walks, watching sports and movies, visiting friends and family locally, online, and even driving across the country.
Jim will be greatly missed by family and friends.
A Tribute to Jim's Life will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2022 at two in the afternoon at Horan and McConaty 5303 E. County Line Road Centennial, CO 80122. Reception to follow.
