James Gostele

68, of Denver, Colorado. Passed away on June 26, 2015. He was born in Elgin, Illinois to the late Frank and Eileen (Halvorsen) Gostele. James attended Denver University. He was a Zookeeper for 28 years at the Denver Zoo and had a profound love for animals. He enjoyed spending time in his rustic cabin in the woods of Deckers, Colorado. James bowled, played softball, enjoyed skiing in the winter and collected a variety of unique items. He was preceded in death by his brother Steven Gostele. He is survived by his brothers David (Debra) Gostele of Ames, Iowa and William (Ginny) Gostele of Coal Valley, Illinois, and several nieces and nephews. James had a friendly and peaceful character and will be greatly missed. A graveside Service will be held at 12 PM Sunday, July 5 Chapel Hill Cemetery, 6601 S. Colorado Blvd., Centennial.
