James R. Grubich

James R. Grubich, age 63, passed away unexpectedly in his home on March 11, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mary Kincade; sons Kevin Grubich and Corey Grubich; sister Nancy Yanites; and brother Phillip Grubich Taylor. His daughter, Crystal Dawn Grubich; and parents, Ralph and Shirley (Moore) Grubich, preceded him in death. James was a graduate of LaSalle-Peru of Illinois Class of 1967. He served from 1968-1972 in the United States Air Force stationed at Forbes Air Force Base in Topeka, Kansas. He worked for the United States Post Office at the Denver Terminal Annex for 32 years. After retiring from the Post Office he drove a school bus for Douglas County. Jim enjoyed going on vacation with his wife and boys. His hobbies were golf, bowling, and watching any sport on TV while listing to another sport on the radio. He was also an avid Denver Broncos and St. Louis Cardinals fan. There will be a Visitation for James on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado 80227. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 17, 2012, 10:30 am at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado 80227. Interment will be Tuesday, March 20, 2012, 10:00 am at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado 80235.
