James Francis Hagan

August 12, 1931 — January 4, 2017

James Francis Hagan August 12, 1931 - January 4, 2017 85, originally of Perryville, MO, passed into eternal life surrounded by his family on January 4, 2017. Jim served in the Navy as 1st Class Petty officer, Aircraft- Engine Mechanic during the Korean War. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th degree #1843. Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years Mary Rita; his 9 children Mary Ann, Jim, John, Joe, Jerry, MaDonna, Jeff, Jason, Marisa, and 26 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Jim was passionately devoted to his ""bride"", family and his faith. He truly was a man of God. We will cherish all of our memories, lessons he taught, and honor the integrity he instilled in us. Jim always responded ""close to fantastic"" when asked how he was doing. His explanation as to why only ""close"", was, he would be ""fantastic when he was with God"". Well, now he is fantastic!! Services will be held in James's honor. Rosary 7 pm, Tuesday 1/10/17 at St. Louis Catholic church, 3310 S Sherman St., Englewood, CO 80113 Funeral Mass, 12pm 1/11/17, St. Louis Catholic Church, followed by burial at Ft. Logan National Cemetery at 2:15pm.
