James Wilson Hill

James Wilson Hill passed away February 10, 2016 at the age of 84. He was born June 3, 1931 to Clarence and Esther (Wilson) Hill in Los Angeles, California. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; sons Stephen (Robin) Hill and Drew Hill; grandchildren Ryan Hill, Carter Hill, Ames Hill, Ean Hill, Madeleine Hill and Ruth Hill. Jim grew up in South Pasadena, California, served in the USAF 1950 -1954, graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering from UCLA in 1958 and married Shirley Smith April 7, 1961 in Germany. He worked for Hughes Aircraft from 1958 until retirement in 1989. Jim was very active in his church, especially in the sponsorship of missionaries. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 beginning at 10:00 in the morning at Faith Presbyterian Church, 11373 East Alameda Avenue in Aurora. Interment will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Cornerstone Community Church Missions Ministry, 14140 E.
