James R. "Jim" Jennings, 73, of Norwalk, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 24, 2024, at University of Toledo Medical Center.
He was born February 12,1951, in Port Clinton, to Clifford and Helen (Heiser) Jennings. Jim graduated from Port Clinton High School and attended Ohio University.
Generous, funny, loving, and kind, Jim was unquestionably morally sound and honest. He had a wonderful sense of humor. A man who could fix anything, Jim enjoyed working on cars, sailing when he was younger, traveling, and listening to music. He loved his family and cherished time with his grandchildren.
An Eagle Scout, Jim recently joined Norwalk Eagles Aerie 711. He was an extremely hard worker and C.E.O. for an O.E.M. Manufacturer.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 38 years, Linda (Arlin) Jennings; children, Tiffany (Ben) Few, Chad (Brittany) McGuckin, and Adam (Danielle) McGuckin; grandchildren, Billy, Ben, Dillion, Dane, Samara, Liam, Max and Ryder; and sister Patty (Denis) Bork. In Keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and son David McGuckin, granddaughter Kathryn Few.
