James Edward Kelce was born on April 4, 1957 in Clinton, Missouri. He was an unbelievably loved man, whose vivid smile and kind eyes brightened any room he entered. His love for life was contagious and felt by all those who met him. His audacious journey led him to homes in Missouri, Illinois, California, and Colorado. Throughout these various quests, Jaime was an avid voyager, constantly looking for the next adventure. Each moment of his life was lived to the fullest, completed by moments of immense creativity and character. Whether through inventing new dishes to cook or drawing up innovative car designs, his unique personality captivated all that he touched. Along with his creative insight, he also exhibited a love of animals that continued all through his life, culminating with the enduring love for his dog Kona. Jaime could always be found tinkering with model planes, cars, helicopters, or anything that had a motor. If he was not constructing new toys, he could be found enjoying the dramatic scenery of Colorado and the rest of the country with his beloved wife by way of hikes, motorcycles, cars, and even motor homes. Jaime will forever be remembered by his comical imitations, accents, jokes, and universal delight for life. He was one of the most imaginative and artistic people to walk the Earth. That ingenuity is most lived out in his two remarkable children, Whitney and Morgan Kelce. Jaime was loved by all children and immediately gravitated toward their warm hearts and spirits. His gift was a pure and honest soul. The pure bliss he always maintained will forever be carried on through his devoted and caring family for generations to come including his spouse Marni; children Whitney & Morgan Kelce; parents Diane & Bob Kelce; and siblings Rusty & Carole. Memorial Services in Jaime's honor will be held Saturday, November 15, 2008, at 2:00 PM, at Word of Life Christian Center, 8700 East Park Meadows Drive, in Lone Tree, Colorado.
