James Jacob Lidinsky Jr., 89, passed away at his residence in Lakewood, Colorado on June 12, 2019.
Jim was born in Illinois on May 8, 1930 to James and Eloise Lidinsky. Jim spent most of his adult life in Colorado. He was a long-time employee of General Motors and retired from Chevrolet in the early 90's as a Field Service Engineer. Jim was a devout Catholic and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved to garden, especially tomatoes and spent many hours fishing and camping with his family.
He is survived by his two sons, Michael Lidinsky (Nancy) of Meridian Idaho; Stephen Lidinsky of Denver, Colorado; his daughter Diane Simmons (Barry) of Littleton, Colorado; four grandchildren, Michael Lidinsky Jr. and Melissa Lidinsky, both of Boise Idaho; Jacob Simmons of Chicago Illinois, Julia Simmons of Denver, Colorado; two brothers Tom Lidinsky (Jo); Fred Lidinsky (Kay); and two sisters Joanie James of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his sister, Eloise Theisen.
A viewing followed by a rosary will be held Monday June 24th at Horan & McConaty 3020 Federal Boulevard, Denver CO from 4 to 6 pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 26th, at St. Catherine of Siena, 4200 Federal Boulevard, Denver Colorado at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Catherine of Sienna or the charity of your choice.
