Jim, 72, passed away peacefully at home on December 27, 2010. He was the beloved husband of Suellen for 50 years; devoted father of Ken (Marjorie) McCormack, Tim McCormack, Kevin McCormack and Kelly (Dean) Conder; and the proud grandfather of Hazel Rae Conder.
Jim was born in Denver, then moved with his family to the Washington, DC area. He received a Bachelors degree from Villanova University. He later returned to Denver with his family and completed his Masters from Webster University. He was an innovator in the field of Human Resources Organizational Development and retired after a successful career with Leprino Foods.
Jim was devoted to his family and had a special place in his heart for the âunderdogâ, never giving up on anyone. He was also an active member of St. Thomas More parish, participating in the Stephenâs Ministry, Discovery Job Network and âThat Man Is Youâ program. He touched many peopleâs lives with his love, compassion and humor.
Recitation of the Rosary to be held Sunday, January 2, 2011, 7:00 p.m., at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road (one block to the west of Holly Street), in Centennial, Colorado. Funeral Mass to be held Monday, January 3, 2011, 11:00 a.m., with Reception following, both at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 8035 South Quebec Street, in Centennial, Colorado.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association, 1280 South Parker Road, Denver, Colorado 80231; or to the American Lung Association, 5600 Greenwood Plaza Boulevard, Suite 100, Greenwood Village, Colorado 80111.
