James Young McGregor, 77, veteran and long time resident and businessman of Loveland, Colorado, died suddenly of apparent heart failure Monday, November 1, 2004 at his home in Littleton, Colorado. He was born May 20, 1927 to Hortense Young McGregor and Joseph McGregor in Ogden, Utah. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marjorie Welch McGregor; by a sister, Charilla Jones of Ogden, Utah; three sons, Jim and wife Cindy of Centennial, Colorado; Mark and wife Kathy of Saratoga Springs, Utah; and Joel of Arvada, Colorado; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A Viewing will be held Sunday, November 7th, from 7-9 pm at Horan and McConaty Mortuary, 3101 South Wadsworth, Lakewood, Colorado. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 am Monday, November 8th, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1939 E. Easter Avenue, Littleton, Colorado, with a viewing at the Church from 10-10:45 am. An interment service will following at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 1 pm.
