James D. McKenna

Jim McKenna, 75 years old, passed away Oct. 20, 2017. He was born September 28, 1942 in Long Branch, New Jersey. Jim is survived by his wife Loyeen and children; Brian McKenna (wife Brenda), Molly Essmeier (husband Greg), Michael McKenna (wife Monique), James McKenna, and Shannon McKenna. Grandchildren; Morgan McKenna, Bridget McKenna, Brooke McKenna, Maya Essmeier, and Lela Essmeier. Siblings include Thomas McKenna (deceased, wife Barbara), Peter McKenna (wife Jeanne), Mary Zimmermann (husband Alan), Betty Jordan (husband Bill), Patricia Dolan (husband Kevin), and John McKenna (wife Gery). Services will be held at Horan & McConaty 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO. Rosary will be held on November 3rd, at 7 p.m. and the Celebration of Life will be November 4th at 2 p.m. A reception will follow the Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Jim's honor to Kiwanis Club of Denver, P.O Box 18828, Denver, Colorado 80218.
