James ""Jim"" Joseph McVeigh

James Joseph McVeigh, age 70, died at St. Anthony’s North Hospital on Friday, March 30, 2018 due to complications following a heart attack. Born July 20, 1947 in Philadelphia, PA, he lived in Philadelphia, PA, Detroit, MI and Denver, CO and held positions at Ford, UQM, United Lubricants and other engineering companies, including running his own engineering firm for several years. Jim retired in 2013, was an avid automobile enthusiast and sports fan. Survivors include his children, Samantha Wilson [Dan] (CO), Brian McVeigh [Jenny] (AZ) and his Grandchildren Hunter, Simon and Charlie Wilson, and Austin and Kasia McVeigh. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Gloria McVeigh. Memorial Service is Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 10:30am at Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80227.
