James C. (Jim) Meyer, 88, of Denver Colorado passed away on March 25, 2016. Jim was predeceased by his first wife Caroline, Son Stephen and Brothers Frank. Joe, and John. He is survived by his second wife Phyllis, Sons Michael, Patrick, and Gregory, Sister Elizabeth, Sister-in-Law Barbara, Daughter-in-Laws Theresa, Cathy, and Debra, Grandchildren David, Leslie, and Cameron, numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. Jim was born in Independence, MO and grew up in Indiana, after joining the Air Force he was eventually stationed in Denver, CO where he raised his family. After retiring from the Air Force, he went to work for the State of Colorado Building Department where he worked until retiring for a second time. During his retirement years he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, listening to music, and cheering for the Broncos. Graveside committal services will be held at 12:15 pm, Tuesday April 4 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area C, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver. A reception will follow the service with details provided at the graveside.
