James Carlton Ober

Jim Ober, 64, of Parker, passed away June 4, 2005. Born March 27, 1941 in Sioux City, Iowa a son of Carlton and Helen Migis Ober. Jim was the Loving husband of wife Christine 'Cookie' Bielski Ober, of Parker, Colorado; and wonderful father of son, Jamey Ober, of Littleton, Colorado. He is also survived by his mother Helen and sister Susan Ober, both of Chula Vista, CA; and a sister, Donna Chartier, of Sioux City, Iowa. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Carl Ober. Jim retired from the US Navy and was employed at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. He loved attending NHRA Drag Races and supporting his son Jamey as an NHRA Pro Stock Driver. A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 12th, from 5:00-6:30pm, followed by a rosary at 6:30pm. A Funeral service will be held on Monday, 11am. All services will be held at Horan & McConaty, 3101 South Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, Colorado. Interment will be at 12:30pm, at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, staging area "C".
