Jim graduated from Regis High School in 1943 and from Colorado School of Mines in 1948. He worked as General Sales Manager for Denver Equip. Co. for 26 years and for Hazen Research before developing Quinn Process Equip. Co. with his sons, which now has a world-wide reputation. He is survived by Irene, his loving wife of 61 years; eight children, James E., Jr., Deborah Pesusich (Dan), Edward M., Richard C. (Doreen), Robert J. (Lorrie) of Houston, Melinda Blanchard (Mike), Rebecca Bolders (John), and Marilyn Miller (Gregg) of Nevada. Jim was preceded in death by his brothers Mike (Bob) and Tom. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A Rosary will be said 7:00 Tuesday at Horan & McConaty, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 10, at Church of the Risen Christ, 3060 S. Monaco.
