James Lincoln Ruth

James L. Ruth of Denver, Colorado passed away December 27, 2017. Born in Detroit, Michigan, son to Bob and Diane (Peterson) Ruth. James loved the outdoors, skiing, traveling and spending time with family and friends. His fondest moments were spent with his wife Sam hiking or spending time in Grand Lake. He was a sports fanatic and always rooted for his Michigan, home state, favorites: Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, Red Wings, Pistons and the Central Michigan Chippewas. He had a love for music and Led Zeppelin was his favorite. James was a private man but anyone who met him felt his warmth and kindness. He worked for Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation as a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer and all who worked with him loved and admired his work ethic and willingness to help others. James is survived by his loving wife Sam (Sharf) Ruth, his parents, his brother Bob Ruth, his sisters Kelly Belcher and Karen Mann. A visitation and Memorial Service will be held at Horan & McConaty 1091 South Colorado Blvd, Denver on Friday, January 12th from 9am-12pm, with service starting at 11am.
