JAMES B. SANDERS, Age 93, of Highlands Ranch, passed away April 2, 2016. James is preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years, Elizabeth Atwater Sanders; his son Michael; and his wife of 23 years, Lois Macrum Sanders. He is survived by his by loving wife of four years, Lee Moore Sanders; daughter Patrice; brother Bill of Waco, TX; and many other loving relatives and friends. ""I had over 93 years of adventures: flew 22 different airplanes, survived 6 in-flight emergencies and 2 crashes, was shot at and missed on 40 occasions, faced dangerous animals in Africa and Alaska, caught trophy game - fish in Mexico and New Zealand - set foot in all 50 states and 61 other countries, knew the pride of a son, the joy of a daughter, the love of a large family and many friends, and at the end, blessed with the devotion of a beautiful woman I adored. What more could I have asked of God?"" Interment will be on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 1:15 in the afternoon, at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area 'C', in Denver, Colorado.
