James T. ""Jim"" Schiffgen

James Thomas Schiffgen was born January 12, 1930 in Leavenworth, Kansas to Thomas J. Schiffgen and Margaret (Ward) Schiffgen, and passed away in Lakewood, Colorado on February 8, 2018 at age 88. Jim was married to Carol Jeanice Hassler on August 21, 1950, and they were married for 64 years at the time of her passing on December 22, 2014. Jim served in the United States Air Force in Korea. He is survived by his daughters, Rhonda Goodrich and her husband Rick, and Karen Kelley and her husband Bill Powell. He is also survived by his brother Bob Schiffgen and his wife Sharon, grandchildren, Clinton Reilly, Adam Reilly, Brian Reilly, Kip Kelley and Cody Kelley, and his great grandchildren, Quinn Reilly, Ian Reilly, Krysti Reilly, Matthew Kelley, Morgan Reilly, Allison Reilly and Samantha Kelley. Jim was preceded in death by his sister Peggy Patterson and his brother Don Schiffgen. The Graveside Service will be held at 12:30PM, Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard.
