Jim Schneider, 79, of Lakewood died October 2, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Joan; children, Janna Sterner and Joe Schneider; grandchildren, Harley Sterner, Katie Schneider, Zed Sterner, and Jordan Schneider; great-grandchildren, Jesse and Eli Sterner, and Sawyer Medina; siblings, Rita Reisz, Urb Schneider, Don Schneider, and Arlene Carter and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass, Friday, 10:30am, Christ on the Mountain, 13922 W. Utah Ave. Committal of Cremated Remains, Monday, 12:00pm, Ft. Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd. Meet at Staging Area ""A"" at 11:45am. In place of flowers, donation may be made to either the American Cancer Association or Christ on The Mountain Catholic Church.
