James Arven Twitchel

James Arven Twitchel, lovingly known as Jim, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 24, 2012. He was born on December 18, 1934 in Martinez, California. He lived in Aurora, Colorado for 24 years. He was preceded in death by his brother Don Twitchel, his mother Marietta Campbell Nelson, and his father William Edgar Twitchel. He served our country in the U.S. Army for 8 years. Jim was a Business Manager for Advanced Data Processing Systems at TRW for 33 years. His favorite activities were fishing at Flying X Ranch in Wyoming, watching John Wayne movies and wearing his favorite cowboy attire. He also enjoyed playing games and reconnecting with family and friends on Facebook and on Skype. He also enjoyed square dancing and bowling. He is survived by his son, David James Twitchel of Riverside, CA and his daughter, Catherine T. Afable and her husband Rey of Eastvale, CA; grandchildren: Nikki, Torri, Canoy, Emilio Afable and Rory Schomburg; nieces Donna and Denise; and nephew Michael Twitchel, former wife Marcia Catherine Dent, all from California as well.
