James ""Jim"" A. Williams

August 28, 1926 — August 15, 2017

Jim passed away peacefully at his home in Arvada with Alice, his loving wife of 68 years by his side. He is also survived by sister Donalee Clark (Pat), his three children Marty (Beckie), Chris (Jill), and Greg (Lori), 6 grandchildren - Erica Freeman (Brian), Mike Williams, Dan Williams (Candace), Jared, Kyle, and Kayla Williams, and 2 great grandchildren - Forrest, and Lyric Freeman. Jim was a proud World War II Veteran who served late in the war. He was very proud of the fact that he was an MP who served at the war trials of the Japanese leaders in Tokyo. He was a very accomplished carpenter who built many homes in the Denver, Colorado Springs, and Parker area. He loved sports. The Rockies, Broncos, Buffs, and any sports his children or grandchildren participated in. A Memorial Service will be held in his honor at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel at 7577 W 80th Ave. Arvada, CO 80003. on August 26, 2017 at 11:00am. Reception to immediately follow.
