James Fieldon Woodward
September 16, 1934 – June 27, 2022
James F. Woodward, 87, of Westminster, Colorado passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home, and started his journey into eternal life on June 27, 2022.
James (Jim) was born in Longmont, Colorado to Pearl Arthur and Laura Woodward, on September 16, 1934. He was the tenth child in a beautiful family of eleven brothers and sisters. He enjoyed his childhood in Longmont, and the traditional upbringing in such a large family. This is what shaped the hard working and independent spirit that Jim possessed, and one that would successfully carry him through his entire life.
Soon after high school he married his high school sweetheart, and now wife of 68 years, Agnes Woodward (Grabrian). Over the next 5 ½ years they would welcome three children of their own. After working with one of Denver’s premier real estate developers for 17 years, he made the decision to venture into business for himself. This decision ultimately turned in to a very fulfilling and prosperous life for him, his family, and all who were associated with him. Jim would never officially retire (God forbid). He loved coming into the office so he could be around his family and beloved employees that meant so much to him. Jim was a fiercely loyal man to all of those around him.
Jim enjoyed traveling with his wife, touring the U.S. in his motorhome, spending time at his home in Grand Lake, destination fishing trips, and taking numerous family vacations to the Bahamas.
Jim is survived by his wife, Agnes (a true saint), his children, Pamela Brinkmann, Kendall (Justine) Woodward, Jeff (Karen) Woodward, grandchildren, Melissa (Andrew) Dahn, Aaron (Britanny) Woodward, Franco & Bianca Ruscitti, and Sarah Woodward. He is preceded in death by his beloved grandson, Clayton Woodward. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Anarah Dahn and Riley Woodward, brother, Warren (Connie) Woodward, sister, Patricia (Charles) Wilson, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
