James A. Woolum

James A. Woolum passed away on May 7, 2024, at the age of 76. He was a graduate of Texas A&M University and received his doctorate in dental surgery from the University of Texas. After serving in the United States Air Force, Mr. Woolum practiced family dentistry for several years before teaching as an associate professor at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine.  

Mr. Woolum enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his ex-wife Beverly, their two sons, Christopher and Malcolm, his daughter-in-law Jennifer, and his two granddaughters, Sarah and Kaitlin. He is also survived by his uncle, Everett, several cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Mary.

A viewing will take place at Horan & McConaty in Centennial, CO at 9:30am on Tuesday, May 28th. Burial services will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 12:30PM the same day.
