Jamie Vigil

Jamie John Vigil passed away in his home in Lakewood CO on April 3, 2022 at the age of 55. He was born March 3, 1967 in Denver Colorado. Jamie grew up in the Southwest Denver area. He attended Abraham Lincoln high school and received a GED in his senior year. In his early life he enjoyed bowling and fishing and being with family. He played the trumpet in school and had interest in maps and geography. He was easygoing and caring and would always lend a helping hand to others. For many years he worked in construction for a living and he was never married.

Jamie is survived by Amanda (daughter) and Robert Maes, Eugene (son) and Jessika Vigil, Dominic and Derek (sons), Gillian, Janis, Myra, Audianna, Anaya, David, Daveon, and Masiyya (grandchildren), David “Keith” Champ (stepfather), Paul and Leona (siblings), Glenn, Jesse “godson”, and Joseph  (nephews) and Jasmine and Aaliya (nieces). He was loved by many, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by Mary “Anita”Champ (mother), and John “Jackie” Vigil (father).

A Memorial Service honoring Jamie's life will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 11:00AM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado.
