Jane Swaim Fox, 86, passed away in the early hours on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 in Littleton, Colorado from natural causes of Alzheimerâs. She was born on January 18, 1932 in Jackson, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, Edward B. (Ted) Fox and by her parents, John R. and Madge B. Swaim. Jane is survived by her brother, J. Richard Swaim and her four children, Elizabeth (Art) Westberg, Cress (John) Coffman, E. B. (Ted) Fox III, and Ginny (Dan) Potter. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Ellie (Dave) Hoffman, Wes (Anita) Beckler, Sara (Nate) Peterson, Sam Coffman, Max Potter, and Nate Potter and her three great grandchildren, Drew Hoffman, Emma Jane Peterson, and Audrey Peterson. Jane graduated from Dyersburg High School and Southwestern (now Rhodes) College, where she was a Chi Omega. She and her husband made their home in Memphis. She was a member of Les Passees, taught school first at Whitehaven High and later at Evangelical Christian School, and was a realtor with Germantown Realty until moving to Arkansas. She was also very active in her church, First Evangelical. She and her husband moved to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas when they retired and stayed until his death in 2012. Jane lived in Colorado to be closer to her children for the last five years. A memorial service will be held on April 17, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Village Bible Church, 100 Ponderosa Way, Hot Springs Village, Arkansas.
