Jane L. Ledesma

Jane L. Ledesma, born in Denver on November 13, 1937 and passed away on March 29, 2020 from complications of Covid19.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur F. Ledesma; her parents, Alvaro and Julia Barnett and brother, Charlie Barnett. She is survived by her son, Patrick (Diane) Ledesma; her daughter, Michele (Larry) Martinez; grandchildren Joelle Martinez (Jason Prutch) and Andre L. Martinez; and her two great- grandchildren, Isabella Jane & Mateo Prutch.

Jane made numerous friends in her lifetime. She would talk to anyone, even just a passerby. Jane proudly dedicated over 60 years of her life to the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW. She served as a State and National Officer and received numerous awards for her volunteerism at the VA. Her family was everything to her. She often shared how proud she was of all of them. She was also a very faithful person. She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, Jane asked that donations be made in her memory to VFW National Home for Children, General Medical Fund, 3573 South Waverly Road, Eaton Rapids, MI 48827, Attn: Director of Donations.
