Jane C. Pollitt

Jane C. Pollitt passed March 11, 2007 at Grandma's Mountain Home, Evergreen, CO. Jane was born Torrington, CT, moved to St. Petersburg, FL in 1925, attended St. Paul's Catholic School, St. Petersburg Junior College and began her career as a Legal Secretary, working for Mssrs. Baynard Hobson, Meros & Wilkinson before moving to Denver in 1973 where she was employed by the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals and was Secretary to Judge Doyle at the time of her retirement in 1985. Jane raised 3 children was a Mother, friend, active horsewomen, tennis player and piano player and enjoyed animals, books and life. She is survived by her sister Mary Smith, daughters Patti Richards and Nancie Araki and grandchildren Michio and Dillon Araki. A Mass in Jane's honor will be at Mother Cabrini Chapel Sunday, March 18, at 11am arrive early for visiting. Her Burial and Gathering will be June 2, 2007, 11am, Fraser Cemetery, Fraser, CO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Safe Harbor Lab Rescue or charity of donor's choice.
