Janet ""Pal"" Burkholder

Janet Burkholder passed away on February 2, 2016 in Aurora, Colorado at the age of 90. She is proceed in death by her loving husband, Lyle ""Buck"" Burkholder. Janet was born in Basset, Nebraska to the late James and Maude Berryman. She attended Burwell High School before moving to Aurora, Colorado where she lived a long and happy life that included; raising her two daughters Jean Chalmers and Amy Countryman, growing the most beautiful garden on earth, avidly volunteering with the Democratic National Party and traveling the world. She is preceded in death by her siblings Jeane (identical twin), William and Mildred and son-in-laws Bruce, Robert and Kirk. She is survived by her daughters, Jean and Amy; grandchildren, Sandy, Erin, Katie and Robert; great grandchildren, Brendan, Julianna and Luke; nephews and their wives, William and Miwon and Steve and Anne; niece Charlotte; and numerous other family and friends. May joy and peace surround you, Contentment latch your door, And happiness be with you now, And bless you ever more. Interment will be with her husband at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Colorado.
