Janet Louise Crofford

Janet Louise Crofford, 81, of Denver passed away on January 3, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 18, 1937 in Denver, Colorado she was the daughter of the late Claude W Crofford and Renabelle (Kerr) Crofford.

Janet grew up in Denver and regaled us with stories of playing on the baseball team as a kid. What started as a school project getting a job at a bank after school, turned into a career for her. After graduating from South High School in Denver, she went to work full time in the banking industry. She was able to work her way up to become a bank manager.

After retiring from the banking industry, she worked as a collections agent later in life. Along the way she made countless friends.

She enjoyed her daily coffee, conversations with her family and the Denver Broncos. Although Janet never had children herself, she was like a second mother to her nephews and nieces.

She is survived by her brothers Jon of Denver, CO, Glen of Lakewood, CO and her sister Carol of Green River, WY. She will be remembered for her boisterous laughter, caring for others and generous spirit. She was greatly loved and will be missed.

Janet's ashes will be scattered during a private ceremony per her request.
