Janet (Gail) Lamboley, 83, passed away on November 5, 2020 after
her long and brave fight with Alzheimers.
Gail was born on July 15, 1937 in Denver, Colorado.
The daughter of Clinton and Ethel Strait.
Gail attended Aurora Central High-school and was named Miss Aurora in 1955. With her talent and passion of music
Gail attended the Utah School of music in Salt Lake City. Gail sang and played the violin for the Aurora and Denver Symphonies for many years.
She traveled the world and lived in Colorado, Pennsylvania, Florida and California until she made the circle back to her native Colorado in 1973. Her return to Colorado brought her love and a union
she cherished.
Gail met Alan and married in 1976, they lived in Vail, Colorado for nearly a decade. She always said Colorado was the most beautiful place on Earth to live.
Gail held many positions throughout her career, and returned to the Aurora Symphony in the 1990’s.
In addition to her love of music, Gails true passion was for the love and care of her family. Her home was where her heart was and that home was always open, filled with love, laughter, some tears, but always to the devotion and care for all of those around her.
Gail is survived by her loving husband and soul mate, Alan Lamboley
of Centennial Co., her daughters, Kim Graber (Randy), of Aurora CO.
Tamara Scott (John), of Roswell, GA. Her four grandchildren, Ryan
Graber, Haley Burns (Ryan), Cole Scott (Natasha) and Amanda Scott.
And her four great grandchildren, Sean Graber, Sadie and Spencer
Burns, and Riley Scott.
Memorial Service for the Celebration of Gail’s life will be held at a future
date, when it is pronounced “safe to gather” at Horan & Mc-
Conaty; 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave. Aurora, CO.
