Janet Lea Henry Melvin

Janet Lea Henry Melvin, 69, of Denver, CO, Formerly of Monmouth and Roseville, IL, passed away on April 12, 2016. She was born on June 6, 1946 in Monmouth, IL. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 4 PM at Athenian Restaurant, Aurora, CO. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 10 AM at Roseville Christian Church, 215 W. Broadway St, Roseville, IL 61473. There will be a celebration of life following at American Legion in Monmouth at approximately 1:30 PM. Janet is preceded in death by her parents, George Roy and Evelyn Myra Henry, a nephew and grandchild. She is survived by her husband, John Melvin; sons, Doug, of Denver, David, of Cameron; daughters, Angie, Jennifer and Jonna, all of Denver; sisters, Joyce (Gene) Vestal-Galesburg and Jean (Lyle) Pierce, of Monmouth; and several grandchildren.
