Janet Loretta Merrill

Janet "Jan" L. Merrill, 88, passed at home on October 23, 2023. Beloved wife of 53 years to Bill (deceased); cherished mother to Patricia Merrill (David) Echt and David Merrill; devoted grandmother to Jack, Alexia and Taylor Merrill. Survived by sisters Patricia Hall, Betty Leek and Eileen Spence.

She enjoyed a career in banking for over two decades. She spent countless hours volunteering for several organizations: Townhall II Crisis Intervention, Safehouse for Domestic Violence and most recently at Jeffco Action Center where she served for over ten years. She was also President for the Widow and Widowers (WOW) group.

She is remembered for her warmth, kindness and dynamic personality. She was committed to selfless service and believed in human dignity for all. She was deeply devoted to her beloved family and friends and will be missed by many.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, November 5th at 1:00pm at Horan and McConaty, 7577 80^th Avenue in Arvada, Colorado.
