Janet Pittsinger

Janet Ann Pittsinger, 85, of Arvada, CO passed on November 10, 2021. Ann was born to Desilee (Kramer) and Richard Warren McNeill on December 31, 1935 in Memphis, TN. She was nine of ten children. For many years she worked for Colorado Division of Wildlife and in the early 90’s she went to work for what is now Comcast. She retired from Comcast in 2018 at the age of 83. Ann found a lot of joy working with and mentoring younger generations. Her greatest joy was her family. She loved babysitting her great grandchildren and family gatherings. Christmas won’t be the same without her peanut butter fudge.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Desilee McNeill; and her son, Dwayne Pittsinger; four brothers, Glen, Richard, Jerome and Jimmy McNeill; and one sister Jean Dunbar.

Survivors include two daughters, Vicki (Tom) Chance of Atwood, KS and Tammy (Wynn) Fontenot of Arvada, CO; one son Mike Pittsinger of Thorton, CO. Survivors also include one sister, Marge Appenzeller of Springfield, IL and two brothers, Robert McNeill of Huntsville, AL and Bill McNeill of South Hampton, MS; five grandchildren, Heather (Josh) Breeding of Minneapolis, KS; Nathan (Katie) Chance of Elizabeth, CO; Joshua (Desirae) Pittsinger of Johnstown, CO; Elijah (Danielle) Pittsinger of Berthoud, CO; and Emily (Preston) Jull of Johnstown, CO; three great grandchildren, Colin, Emma and Bella.

A private service was held in her honor.
