Janet Carol Swaney

Janet Carol Bunting, 61, of Arvada, passed away January 25, 2018 in Denver, Colorado. Funeral service will be held at Waterstone Community Church on February 2, at 1:00 pm. Reception to follow immediately after the service. Janet was born in Dodge City, KS to Carroll and Betty Lou Bunting on March 17, 1956. She went to high school at Alameda High School and graduated in 1974. She went on to start a career with the State of Colorado and later earned a degree in Business from CU Denver. She enjoyed attending Nugget games, reading, Sudoku, loved her grandchildren and Elvis. Spending time with family and friends was always her first priority. Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Carroll Bunting and Betty Lou Metz. Janet is survived by life companion Mike Santos, daughter Tracy Warden, son Luke Swaney, brothers Steve and wife Cheryl Bunting and Dave and wife Sherrie Bunting, grandchildren Anna and Jake Warden. Janet also leaves behind many beloved cousins, nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
