Janet M. Velazquez

Janet M. Velazquez, 88, of Denver, died February 27, 2008. She was a nursing educator at St. Joseph, at C.U., and at the Community College of Denver. She loved travel, the theatre, and Colorado athletics. Preceded in death by her husband, Jose ""Joe"". Survived by one son, Jose (Marcia Malone) Velazquez; grandchildren Maria Elena & Christopher. Visitation 4:00 to 8:00 Tuesday, Horan & McConaty, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd. Funeral Mass 11:00 Wednesday, St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 3475 E. Arizona Ave. Entombment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
