Janice G. Cole

Jan, 72, of Broomfield, Colorado passed away June 7, 2018. Jan was born in Denver, Colorado and grew up in the area. She ventured to Reno, Nevada to visit her father in the military, when she met her future husband, Gary, while working at a bakery. After he graduated, they married and were blessed at 52 years. Together, they had three children: Tami, David & Mandy. Jan worked at the telephone company and as an airline reservationist before she began her very favorite job: Grandma! She watched the grandchildren when they were younger and loved them so much. In her free time, Jan enjoyed camping and spending time in the mountains. Jan is preceded in death by her daughter, Tami Kuettel; brother, Johnny Gereke; and sister, Martha Lane. She is survived by her husband, Gary; children, David (April) Cole and Mandy (James) Jaramillo; son in law, Andy Kuettel; grandchildren, Brandon Kuettel, Cody Kuettel, JD (his girlfriend, Shania) Jaramillo, Drew Cole, Brian Jaramillo, Kristin Kuettel, Jordan Cole, Mackenzie Jaramillo; siblings, Patt (John) Wheeler, Bobby (Whit Deem) Gereke, Nancy (Monty) Fix, Kevin (Gaynor) Holmby, Mark Lane, Mike Lane and MaryAnn Lane; and several nieces and nephews and their families, Laura Tripp, Jeanette Morris, Anna Knowles, Jeremiah Wheeler, Elias Wheeler, Sarah Gonzales, Chrissy Summers, Danny Chamberlain, Tony Fix and Nick Holmby. Funeral Services honoring Jan will be Friday, June 15, 2018, beginning at 2:00 PM, with viewing one hour prior, all at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado 80229.
