Janice Nell White Karras

Janice Nell White Karras of Highlands Ranch, Colorado died August 25 after a long illness. Jan was born August 26, 1932 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, graduated from Wauwatosa Senior High School in Wisconsin, attended Denison University, Evanston, Illinois, and received her Master of Arts from Denver University. She was a teacher and counselor in the Littleton, Colorado high schools and in Chicago. Jan is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Chris Karras of Aurora, daughter Virginia G. Karras of Aurora, daughter Elizabeth K. Schmieder and her husband Robert of Highlands Ranch, son Steven Jay Karras and his wife Yvonne of Glencoe, Illinois, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and her sister Dorothy Cobb and her husband David of Lansing, Michigan. At Jan's request no services were held.
