Janie Patterson Houston

Janie Patterson Houston, Age 63 passed away peacefully January 5, 2017 in her home alongside her Husband and Daughter., in Erlanger, KY. Janie was born, May 13, 1953 in Denton, TX to Mac and Frances Patterson. She married Douglas C. Houston III on October 26, 1975. Soon after followed the birth of her beloved, Amy Huline in 1979. She was a dedicated mother, wonderful wife, and cook extraordinaire. Extremely outgoing, she had a love for people and never failed to show them otherwise. She was a well versed Medical Office Manager, who could speak medical terminology fluently with any doctor. She participated unselfishly in her husband's love for soaring and actively involved in Doug's broadcast career. Janie had a deep love for her Golden Retrievers and Cats. She is survived by husband, Douglas C. Houston III, daughter Amy Houston Beckner, Son-In-Law Chris Beckner, Mother in Law Mary Houston, Sister in Law Darci Hague; nieces Holly and Heather Hague, and Cousin Harry Bishop. Celebration of her life will be held at Unity Spiritual Center Denver, 3021 S University Blvd Denver, CO 80210 on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 1:00 PM. A burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 6601 S Colorado Blvd Centennial, CO 80121. Reception Gathering to follow at 11651 E. Dorado Ave. Englewood, CO 80111.
