Jason Matthew Dahl

Jason Matthew Dahl, 41, of Castle Rock, CO, formerly of Fort Dodge, passed away July 4, 2011, at the Porter Hospice Care Center in Littleton, CO. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 9, at 11:00 a.m. at the Horan & McConaty Funeral Home in Aurora, CO. Visitation will be Friday, July 8, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Jason was born October 20, 1969, at Fort Carson, CO. He graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1988 and Wartburg College in 1992. Jason moved to Colorado in 1995 and began working for MetLife and was most recently employed by Great West Retirement Services as a 401(k) Internal Wholesaler. Jason enjoyed sports, movies, music, and spending time with his loving wife and daughter. Jason was married to Alexis Bankston on September 18, 2004. Survivors include his wife Alexis and daughter Abigail Kate, parents John and Cindy Dahl, Jacksonville, FL, (formerly of Fort Dodge), brother Chris (Marni), nephews Miller and Wilson all of Jacksonville, FL, grandmother Delores Sorensen, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Dahl, Olive Dahl, and Robert Sorensen. In lieu of flowers, memorial contirbutions can be made to the family.
