Jason Alan French, M.D., 43, of Denver, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2020. Jason attended Cornell College, graduating Cum Laude with a BA in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He continued his education at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, where he met his wife, Brooke. They earned their medical degrees in 2004 and were married thereafter. He completed his residency in Pediatrics in 2007 and served as a pediatric hospitalist and associate program director at SIU-SOM. After the completion of Brooke's residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, they and their daughter, Ella, moved to Toronto, Canada, to undertake fellowships at the Hospital for Sick Children at the University of Toronto. They moved to Denver, Colorado, where Claire was born. Jason has worked in the Section of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at University of Colorado School of Medicine as a senior instructor for nearly a decade. Jason was an avid athlete, enjoying camping, snowboarding, cycling, soccer and running. He was a dedicated father, husband, son, brother and friend. Jason is survived by his loving wife, Brooke French, M.D., beloved daughters, Ella and Claire; brother, Tony French and parents, Ron and Irene French. Private services will be held.
