Jason was born in Oceanside, California but moved to Colorado as a small child. He was raised in Northglenn, and lived in Longmont most of his adult life. He graduated from Lincoln Tech as a diesel mechanic, with an Associates degree in business. Jason had a great sense of humor and a love of the outdoors. Fishing, camping, and even simple walks around the lake. He could find joy in watching all things in nature. Playing video games, and watching nature or comedy shows on TV, and watching football, especially his favorite team, the Miami Dolphins. He loved playing poker, up in Blackhawk in tournaments or with his family in Georgia or a group of friends. He enjoyed a wide range of music, from Slayer to Peter, Paul and Mary. He played the saxophone is his school years, including the baritone sax in the Half-Pint Jazz band. He was always quick to offer help when someone was in need, and felt a lot of satisfaction in being able to do so. Even in death, he's been able to help several people with organ donation, and will continue to help with forensic science studies at Mesa University in Grand Junction.
