Jason Scott Soodsma

Jason (41), of Aurora, passed March 17, 2015. Jason was born in Englewood, Colorado. He attended Denver Christian Schools and later graduated from Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa with a degree in Accounting. Jason married Karen and together they were raising and home schooling three beautiful children. Jason dearly loved his children and so enjoyed spending time with them. Jason was active in his church, leading and participating in many areas. Jason is survived by his wife, Karen and children, Seth (6), Ariadne (4), Halle (10mths); father, Rufus Soodsma; siblings, Ruth (Ken) Moses, Joel (Corrine) Soodsma, Stuart Soodsma, Stephen Soodsma, Jason is preceded in death by his mother, Johanna Soodsma. Jason's family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 19, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue in Aurora. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 20, beginning at 10:30 in the morning at First Christian Reformed Church in Denver. A reception will follow at the church.
