Jason Tometich

October 16, 1977 — May 12, 2022

Our beloved Jason was born on October 16, 1977 to his parents Tony Tometich and Lisa Soldow Tometich. He passed away unexpectedly in his home in Castle Pines, CO, on May 12, 2022.  Jason was a pillar of strength, love, and life.  He had a dynamic presence, a great sense of humor, a very special tenderness, and a huge heart.  He grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he participated in numerous activities including Boy Scouts and sports such as basketball, football, and swimming.  He graduated from Santa Fe High School in 1997. Jason spent some time in Santander, Spain before returning to attend college.  He completed a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Administration and Management at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.  He remained in Las Vegas for 10 years and built a successful career in Hospitality before moving to Newport Beach, CA.  Jason eventually relocated to his forever home in Colorado in 2011 where he found his calling as a Real Estate Broker.  There he established a strong foundation of friends, colleagues, and community of faith with the Passionate Life Church.  He was a lover of people and animals, especially Phantom, his beloved dog and companion.  Jason was an amazing brother to his four sisters, a generous and loving son and uncle, and a considerate friend who was easy to call upon.  He was an integral part of his community, full of respect, and a very giving human being.  To love, be loved by, and know Jason was both a privilege and a gift.  He was proud to donate his resources and time to higher causes.  Jason was preceded in death by his mother, Lisa; younger sister, Candice Tometich; grandparents, Anthony and Adele Tometich; grandparents, Fred and Mary Soldow; and his aunt, Carla Soldow.  He is survived by his father, Tony; sister, Tara Tometich, her partner Jason Bonal, her sons, Gabriel and Ayrton Cahan; sister, Tricia Haddad, her sons, Talyn and Gavin Haddad; sister, Jennifer Chavez and husband Richard, their children and grandchildren; former wife, Jamie Fritz; uncle, Fred Soldow; numerous cousins, and his dearest and beloved cousin, Diane Greer.  Two services will be held to honor Jason.  A service and reception in Colorado will be Wednesday, May 25th, at 5:00 pm at Cielo at Castle Pines.  The service in Santa Fe will be on Friday, June 10th at Santa Maria De La Paz.  A rosary will be held at 10:00 am with mass to follow at 10:30 am.  A reception to celebrate Jason’s life will follow at 1:00 pm at La Posada de Santa Fe.
