Jay John Andre

In loving memory of Jay Andre 83 of Denver CO who passed away November 10, 2009. Jay was a dedicated father and Denver Firefighter. He was born on August 2, 1926 in Denver CO. He joined the US Navy out of high school and began working for the Denver Fire Department on February 1, 1950. After Jay retired from the Denver Fire Department in 1980 he worked as a Bailiff for the Aurora Courts System. He was an avid member of the Church of The Risen Christ where he sang in the Choir. He was also a member of the John Philip Sousa Band. He is survived by his wife Lucile Andre; Daughter, Renee Werner (Robert); three granddaughters and three great-granddaughters.Services held Wednesday, November 18, 2009, 1:00pm at the Church of the Risen Christ 3060 S Monaco Blvd. Denver 80222.
